Entrant Guide


Scrutineering is open from 9:00am until 6:00pm on Friday, please see below for gates, traffic flow and your allocated area.

You cannot arrive to the venue, even to set up, before your scrutineering time.

Following the map below please:

  • Proceed past the Competitor Gate turning into Gate 3
  • If you are on a trailer you will need to unload before heading into scrutineering
  • Drive through the marquee at GATE 3 and collect your entrant wristband, support or camping vehicle stickers and any tickets you have ordered.
    • You will be able to purchase extra Camping and/or Saturday tickets if you need to.
  • Drive into scrutineering
    • Entrant stickers are provided after you pass scrutineering

Trailer Parking

  • Trailers must be unloaded and parked in the trailer parking area.
  • Trailers must be parked in Trailering Park as close the Northern Fence as possible or to the right hand (Southern) side in GATE 3A area.


  • You must arrive for your allocated timeslot, please do not come earlier you will be turned away to wait until your time
  • Scrutineering is open the below hours
    • Friday: 9:00noon – 7:30pm
    • Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00noon
  • All entrants must be scrutineered. This will be done in the green Scrutineering shed and you will receive your entrant sticker once you pass scrutineering.


  • All campers must have a camping pass, these are available at entry to scrutineering or the Competitor Entry gate
  • Glass containers and alcohol are prohibited at this venue

Entrants are required to meet the ANDRA requirements:


Entrants and passengers are required to meet the ANDRA requirements:

  • Helmet (AS/NZS 1698 or ECE 20.05 minimum) Open or Full Face ok (NO Skull Cap Helmets Allowed)
  • Methanol cars
    • Fire suits, boots and gloves are mandatory. Fire suits can be one or two-piece and must meet or exceed SFI 3.2A/5 or FIA 8856-2000 standards.
    • Balaclava for open face or motocross helmets
  • Other vehicles
    • Long pants – No holes (including designer wear)
    • Long sleeves – No nylon
    • Closed to shoes and long socks
  • A minimum Lap/Sash (3-point) seat belt



  • Entrants wishing to contend for the Motorvation Champion must inform the Judging Team by Saturday afternoon.
  • Driving events include:
    • Smooth Cruise – 4:30pm Saturday
    • Go Whoa – Sunday 9:00am
    • Slalom – Sunday 9:00am (time in program pending)


    • Speed limit of 10km
    • No burnouts
    • Vehicle must have all matching wheels
    • No burnouts during this time.
    • All passengers must have seatbelts
    • No riding in back of utes or wagons
    • No burnouts on the Drag Strip
    • All passengers must have seat belts
    • No riding in the back of utes or wagons
    • No popping tyres
    • No statics
    • Bonnets must be on vehicles
    • All passengers must have seatbelts on
    • Nobody under 16 years of age
    • Passengers must have shirts and shorts on 

NOTE: The Crossover has been moved to the very end of the Drag Strip braking area


Cant make the event? Credit transfers to the next Motorvation area available minus a 10% administration fee. Applications for a credit transfer close on the 31st of January 2022
